I installed PSOBB and the JP client update on my desktop, and when I try to enter in my ID, it cuts off the last four letters, thus preventing me from logging in.

What's wrong?

God damn it. The character limit for the Japanese client is shorter. Apparently I have to re-download BB. Orz.

What I did, was make a copy of my folder and name it PSOBB US Version. Then I applied the JP patch to the original folder. So, with the settings set to save ID and password, I can always log on to the US one just to add the ID if I need to change it for some reason.
I haven't had to test it but I know it works for others at least Smile

I used to have this same problem because I have two accounts. The first one having 12 characters for the username XD. I have a copy of the US client and the JP client. When I want to switch to my first account I have to log on with the US client because of the long username. I don't have that problem with my 2nd one because the username is shorter. For you Neggy, I would suggest having PSOBB save your username and password. Since you only have one account. Unless there's more to your problem XD.
