(Ich bin der Kumpel von dem Typen, der dich von ein paar Wochen angemailt hat, weil er bei BB auf Schthack keine Rares fand).

I'm continuing this in English - yes, he's found a couple of things mostly in Ep4 later on. You just don't find that much in Ep1 or Ep2, unless you go to those certain ships I refrain from going to ... expect to see more lamers playing there and soon running around with a Mille Marteaux and feel like god.

So do I, but my stuff is selfmade. Ahem well I remember he mentioned that he was playing in 1 person mode. I don't know how far Schthack worked on 1 person mode but I remember that rare drops are kinda tricky in there. I basically told him to try it in a "normal" game in different episodes. Glad it worked.

Yeah, but I think I read that you're pretty much staying out of open games with your stuff ... it's more those people who find items which are supposed to be ubers rather easily on China/Korea and then feel like they're so great. I don't know what the rates there are currently, but an SJS or H.Punisher which drops at something like 1/150 is wrong to me. I just do not carry this kind of talk into the Schthack forums, but here I can do it so I'm doing it now.

As for "glad it worked": my mate didn't find anything in Ep1 in one player games. All the good drops he found were in one player Ep4. I didn't get a lot either, even though I found 2 Star Amplifiers on a couple of TLH (Greennil, Hildelt) in one player. But then, with most of the stuff from Ep1/Ep2 available in Black Paper, even though with no %, kind of defeats the purpose of hunting them for real. Especially if you can't find them with % in some areas like Ruins 1/2 ... got a needle for my RAcast in my 4th BP try, guess it would have pi.ssed me off if I had found it in Ruins 1/2 from Merlan.

I join open games with my hax whenever I please lol.
I'm just too lazy and fed up with PSO to go online.

I told him to just leave one player mode and play normal games.
Unless, by 1 player mode you mean you were playing "normal" games just all by yourself.
If not, try to make a "non one player mode" game.
