I've been playing some Might and Magic 6. It's an old game, but a classic, none the less. I had to work Saturday this last weekend, which was alright actually since PSO2 was down anyway.

Mostly anything I bought and neglected on steam. A bit of Last of Us and Drakengard 3 and a side of Dragon's Crown. My backlog is loving the attention :3

I haven't been having much luck lately, this forum won't even let me post in the spambox. I think I'm going to wait a bit on that VPN thing and see if there's any news about the servers. It's already been about 10 days, a couple more won't hurt.

It seems the servers are back up with a few issues. Some users are reporting being able to get online however many others such as myself cannot. I typically get error 249 when trying to log in from my normal internet connection through Brighthouse.

Fortunately however I've had some success using a VPN. Unlike with my normal internet connection I have been able to see the ships online and log in. However since I'm logging in with a new IP I have to authenticate that IP with a code sent to my email. This presents an issue because they are also having issues sending verification emails due to measures they took against the DDoS attacks. After a few attempts I was able to finally recieve an email with the verification code and log in.

The VPN I used was set up manually using an IP acquired through a Japanese site of some form. I can't vouch for the security or anything like that, however you are all free to try at your own risk. I personally doubt anyone runs into any issues, but again I don't know much of anything about the VPN.

I found the guide on the Reddit thread that the PSO2 Tweaker links to if anyone would like to try. I attempted to post the link myself but due to the spam filter I can't. The "leafre" site is what you're looking for.

Pingzapper worked fine again yesterday. However I couldn't connect to ship 2 at all, connecting to other ships actually worked fine. Rolled an alt for shits and giggles anyway on ship 10.

Its just a tunneling program, which allows you to reroute your connection. The servers have their own ip, so there might be something going on there.
Anyway gonna try again tonight for a bit, I'm a bit busy packing and arranging my stuff for the big move coming up Very Happy
Eitherway I'll be without internet for a week or more untill I get hooked up at my new pad.

I'm no longer having issues connecting without a VPN. This leads me to believe that they're removing their restrictions progressively, and there is no hard IP ban.

In other news the Limited Quest out right now is pretty fun.
