|
|
Been a while since I've been here, so for those of you who knew me on PSOBB; hi :3
That said, to get right into business, Zael is hosting a community Time Attack this friday (June 6th) at 2 PM PST/5 PM EST/ 10 PM GMT (UK).
http://boards2.sega.com/psu_board/viewtopic.php?t=80230 More info here.
The reason I'm here discussing this, is that I've been speaking to Opy abit, and even though he can't partake due to time, there's still some of you here that would like it. I know Arche, you're one.
So, I'm sure Opy won't mind us using this here to plan our team accordingly with strategies. I'd like to first get the team together, 4 members required. From there we can work on classes, and practice strategies.
(As a note, I am quite serious to win this, but I'm not going to be all "LOL YOU SUCK SO MUCH GOD YOURE OUT" like any normal DPS fag. But, I will be wanting to practice properly at least, and get things right). _________________ PSU JP: Reina - HUcaseal, lvl80-something?

| Hmmm, I might be interested. Let me know if you guys need a spot to fill. I just had surgery done so I'm down for good for two weeks so I could probably practice. |

this is a pretty interesting challenge, with the limitations on class etc.
between the classes that we "must" have one player as, what do you think the most efficient class would be? my guess is fortetecher
Im also guessing by the quests that a good ranger would be a help.
I personally think i would do best as my acrofighter.
Also, since we are only alowed one fortefighter, we would want to figure out who feels strongest in that class.
any other thoughts?

another quick note, wouldnt hurt to run thru all those missions tonight and figure out if we are able to pass certain mobs and still get S rank.
Even if we dont have a full team together yet. |

I don't believe there is a single mission that doesn't require you to kill all monsters for S rank.
The thing is, due to limitations of classes, and due to the types of enemies each mission contains, I'm starting to think a Fortefighter would be useless on it's own. Maybe, maybe not. It will shine in some areas, but, I know a Fighgunner will definitely be a pick to take for it's versatility in melee and ranged that will allow it to do a constant good amount of damage on all the enemies. Lv40 Dus Daggas/Assault Crush + Lv30 Twin handguns for the various enemies where ranged is better.
Acrotecher would be the best techer to take. And it should have at least 30 high PP weapons. Due to inability to restock on mates, an AT who can spam resta like nothing is a must. As well as the tier 4 buffs.
Fortegunner is a definite must. Two missions with robots, and two bosses where a FG does the most damage at times (Maggas Megahna and Mother Brain). The FG will need a high level Killer Shot with multiple Rifles, maybe the fighter carrying extra rifles just in case. Yohmei rifles, with a little grind. B rank will do, since they're like 1.3k PP off the bat.
So far that's Figh, AT, and FG. The last class is rather...a toss up. ForteFighter would be great for heavy hitting. Now, the question is, is that extra firepower worth giving up versatility? Granted, there's already 2 major gunners (the Fortegunner can also have a Lv20 Dus Daggas for the enemies such as Polavohras in Labs, so they're not up shits creek). Without a FF I'm sure some missions will be slower, while others faster. The question is, which will be most fastest overall? Jabroken and such may just surpass another gun.
I hope you don't mind that I've pretty much self-assumed the position of strategist. _________________ PSU JP: Reina - HUcaseal, lvl80-something?

I'd be interested in trying with my force, although I think I'd do better as a FT then as an AT, a lot more damage output and i'm fast when it comes to resta/reverser.
There's one part of this contest that really stands out to me...Maggas Megahna with no dolls. That scares me more then all the megid in Mother Brain, |

I'm interested of course but it doesnt seem that either a FT or a FF is needed in your set up however those are the only 2 classes i can use at level 20 so guess i'm forced to withdraw lol
Good luck guys.
As for Maghas Maghana with no dolls ? Well it's not like he's that hard when you know how to dodge his attacks. |

| Well, I could use my PT instead, she's my only other char with really high PA levels. I wouldn't mind you being the techer Arche, right now it's still just finding four people and a strategy. Having another paradi in the group would be a plus. I may not be in the group either, (which I wouldn't mind) guess it just depends on team compisition, I agree a FG is a must. |

An FT would probably be more ideal for the damage output, I'm just worried about the HP of said FT. Seeing as how AT has a bit more HP. But, an FT would do well in the party assuming said FT would be more on a support role than offensive. It would be ideal to keep all party members alive till the end, instead of rushing through losing one or two.
You also only need 21 STA to survive Deljaban Megid no problem (23 STA to survive Jarba megid).
The way I can see this is bilbo as FT, Arche as FF, Opy as AF, and myself as FG. My FG is a CAST, so that would make for two Paradi's. What race is your FF, Arche? _________________ PSU JP: Reina - HUcaseal, lvl80-something?

| Yes, that actually works for me, and Opy can confirm I know how to do good support as a FT. Also, since FT got the HP boost not too long ago, it's actually not so bad anymore. |

I've actually no questions on your support ability. I just want a little more extra. Caution is much better than a loss, yeah? I'd like if at all possible for mates to be saved in really extreme cases (Bosses like Megahna). Just solo'ing Megahna on my FG I go through a whole set of mates on average. Granted that's solo'ing, so I'm sure in a team of 4 it will be much less, but yeah. _________________ PSU JP: Reina - HUcaseal, lvl80-something?

| My FF is a female beast (power badge as nanoblast), i started raising my female cast as FF too but still have a pretty long way to go to level 20.If i could make her reach FF 20 that would make 3 paradis but i doubt i'll have enough time to get her there before friday :/ |
