ps2 is dieing

Hi all sorry to tell ya... but my disc drive in my ps2 is broke and dosnt /cant read psu disc. the ps2 dosnt even reconize it as a play station disc. i need to get a new ps2 or better to continue to play Sad

I'm going to try and help him get back online before MAG starts, hopefully it wont cost much, since PS2's have been around for about 8 years now.

Well they aren't that expensive anymore, also the slim models are sturdy lil things. I've seen them take tumble after tumble from tables and what not, but once ya get read errors its game over.
Did ya try use a lens cleaning set?

The lens cleaning doesn't really do much for the ps2 unless it has been covered in dust for over a year. If you had one of the large ps2's it was bound to go out sooner or later. Picking up a new slim is probably the best option for longevity and price.
