The rare maps on this run are different then other areas. For one, they are based on the "third" or "random" mobs that appear in each block. All blocks have rappys and frogs. The other three possibilities are piggies, birds, or go boomas.
to start here are the variations
A (Y split after first room)
A-X: Block 1: piggies, Block 2: go booma
------------------------------------------------
B (Stairway ahead after 1st room)
B-X: Block 1: Birds, Block 2: Birds
------------------------------------------------
C (T Bridge after first room)
C-X: Block 1: Piggies, Block 2: Birds
------------------------------------------------
Ok, now heres the problem. C-X has worked for some, but not for others. A-X has worked everytime it seems.
Some people are saying that the difficulty of the mission determines the probability of each map variation.
A theory somewhere was stating that A,B,or C map variations can have good or bad chances to actually spawn a rare boss on different difficulties.
1. Its been established that A-X works 100% of the time on S difficulty.
2. C-X almost never works on S rank. (some say 100% on B rank)
3. B-X seems to have worked on S. (50/50?)
If anybody has exp with a particular rare map on this or runs a different difficulty and can contribute, let me know.
Either way, if your rare map hunting, keep this theory in mind and you might be able to help prove this to some degree. |

| Thats very interesting, I plan on getting at least 2 serafi feathers over the next week, either from this mission or Lightning Beasts, and since I think I have enough time, I will try to see if I can figure anything out. First I'll test S rank. |
